indiscernible ground colors. Raptor Optical Lenses are the most sophisticated and functional Aviation eyewear available.
Proven Technologies - Raptor Optical lenses incorporate advanced technologies that allow them to be worn all of the time day and night. The precision lenses incorporate technologies developed by opticians, physicists, and fellow aviators. |

Poor Weather & Whiteout - The worse the weather conditions become, the better the Raptor Optical Lenses perform. Raptor lenses increase scene contrast by reducing or eliminating "non-image forming light." The "see into" rain, fog, snow and whiteout while transmitting the full spectrum of colors to your eyes.
Full Color Spectrum - Raptor Optical Lenses accurately transmit the full and natural spectrum of colors by regulating individual wavelengths of light. The initial red/orange color "visually disappears" in 5-20 minutes providing a substantial increase in color saturation and visual contrast combined with comfortable scene brightness. Raptor Optical Lenses can be worn in full sunlight or for nighttime flying.
Night Vision Capabilities - Raptor Optics allow the Simultaneous use of night vision and daylight vision. A pilot can easily/comfortabley look back and forth between dark areas (cockpit) and brightly illuminated area (sunlight) while maintaining excellent vision in both areas. Raptor Optics appear to promote rhodopsin, also known as visual purple. This natural "eye chemical" is necessary for human night vision. Rhodopsin is quickly "bleached out" by a bright light of any color.
Viewing Liquid Crystal Instrumentation - Raptors improve the "readability" of liquid crystal and standard navigational systems while enhancing the color saturation of the instruments. Raptor Optics will not cause the navigational screens to become "opaque black." Raptor lenses also reduce eye-fatigue when utilizing night vision/amplification electronics.
Contact Lens Benefits - Individuals who wear contact lenses indicate the "halo" surrounding brightly illuminated or colored objects disappears while wearing Raptors lenses. Eye strain squinting, and the "too bright feeling" also disappears.
ANSI -Z87.1 Safety Standards - Raptor Optics block 100% of potentially harmful ultraviolet light (UVA and UVB). Raptors comply with ANSI and Industrial Safety Standards, including the Z87.1 (1989 version) High Velocity Lens Impact Test. Each Raptor has a rugged and optically pure anti-scratch coating.
