Raptor lenses are the new generation in Yachting Optics. They are Patented for their ability to improve vision during all sailing conditions. Raptors perform in bright sunlight and throughout extreme weather situations - day and night. They allow inland/offshore yachtsmen "to read water characteristics," refine navigational skills, and interpret subtle "sail shapes." Raptors improve low-level light and night vision capabilities.

Raptors do not interfere with liquid crystal screens and enhance navigational systems, including electronic night vision equipment. Raptors combine advanced technology and safety with contemporary styles to be the most sophisticated and functional yachting/boating eyewear optics available.

Full Color Spectrum - Raptor lenses accurately transmit the full and natural spectrum of colors to your eyes by regulating individual wavelengths of light. The initial red/orange color "visually disappears" in 5-20 minutes providing a substantial increase in color saturation and visual contrast combined with comfortable scene brightness.
Poor Weather & Whiteout - The worse the weather conditions become, the better the Raptor Optical Lenses perform. Raptor lenses increase scene contrast by reducing or eliminating "non-image forming light." The "see into" rain, fog, snow, and whiteout while transmitting the full spectrum of colors to your eyes.

Bright Light & Night Vision Adaptation - Unique spectral properties within the Raptor "lens color" appear to promote the development rhodopsin (visual purple). This natural eye substance allows the "eye chemistry" to remain constant allowing yachtsmen to immediately see into brightly illuminated areas or dark areas - above and below deck.

Ultraviolet (UV) Protection - Each Raptor polycarbonate lens blocks ultraviolet (UVA and UVB) light by incorporating "invisible spectral blocks" that stop this potentially harmful radiation from reaching the eyes.

ANSI -Z87.1 Safety Standards - Raptor Optics block 100% of potentially harmful ultraviolet light (UVA and UVB). Raptors comply with ANSI and Industrial Safety Standards, including the Z87.1 (1989 version) High Velocity Lens Impact Test. Each Raptor has a rugged and optically pure anti-scratch coating.
